Shijin M. George

With a Doctorate in Physical Therapy (DPT) from Touro University and a Bachelor of Health Science Degree from the University of the Sciences, with a Minor in Exercise Science. I bring a unique combination of academic expertise and hands-on experience to the fields of rehabilitation, fitness, and performance training. My passion for optimizing human movement has been honed through a diverse range of experiences, from personal training and strength coaching to advanced clinical practice.

As a Certified Personal Trainer (NSCA) and Certified Strength & Conditioning Specialist (CSCS), I’ve developed and implemented individualized exercise programs that help clients achieve their fitness and performance goals safely and effectively. While at the University of the Sciences, I created and led a High-Intensity Interval Training (HIIT) class for students, faculty, and staff and collaborated with athletic trainers to design sport-specific programs for athletes in volleyball, basketball, track, and more. My early career as Head Training Specialist at LA Fitness Lodi further solidified my ability to motivate and guide individuals to achieve their physical best.

My clinical physical therapy experience spans both inpatient and outpatient settings, allowing me to treat a wide variety of conditions, from post-surgical recovery to chronic pain management. A pivotal part of my professional development was my time at EXOS Sports Clinic in Frisco, Texas, a global leader in human performance and rehabilitation. At EXOS, I worked alongside elite athletes, military personnel, and high-performing professionals, using integrated training and evidence-based rehabilitation techniques to optimize recovery and performance. This experience deepened my understanding of how to apply holistic, innovative methods to help individuals achieve their goals, whether it’s returning to play, excelling at work, or enhancing daily movement.

In addition to my work in physical therapy and fitness, I have a creative passion for videography. Using skills in shooting and editing with Adobe Premiere Pro, I craft compelling narratives that highlight human resilience and achievement. From capturing the intensity of athletic training to showcasing the beauty of movement, my videos tell stories that inspire and motivate.

Through my combined expertise in physical therapy, fitness, and videography, I’m dedicated to empowering individuals to reach their full potential—whether it’s through personalized rehabilitation, performance optimization, or meaningful storytelling.
